Swahili, the people of the coast

from 65.00

Swahili, the People of the Coast is a heartfelt portrait of the unique Swahili culture, an East African coast culture that stretches out from Mogadishu to Central-Mozambique. For centuries, the power of the Indian Ocean has brought forth a flourishing trade resulting in an unusual mix of African, Arabian and Indian elements. This story is about Swahili men and women, about people proud of their past and present.

Jambiani Zanzibar, Tanzania

All pictures are printed on high quality fineart paper. The bigger formats are mounted on Dibond (a beautiful, stylish alternative to Aluminium) to give it a modern and timeless feeling and have the option to add a classy Plexi finishing.

Art Prints are made on demand. Once the order is placed, we'll inform you about delivery times and shipping costs
