Our story began on Lamu Island (Kenya) in 2016, in a simple way, through encounters with local artisans and a deep appreciation for their craft and stories. What started as a small effort to support their work slowly became something more, a way of sharing the beauty, traditions and way of life we fell in love with.

Inspired by life on Lamu, we create items and spaces that are kind to mother earth and value the people we work with. Lulu is a journey of reconnecting with the natural world, with ourselves, and with one another. It’s about nurturing ourselves with what we truly need.
